Our journey
My name is Daniel Krčka and I come from a winemaking family from Zaječí in South Moravia, where the art of working with wine has been passed down for generations. I learned everything I know today from my grandfather and father, and now I pass the same on to my sons. Winemaking means more to me than just work – it is a family heritage, a relationship with nature and a lifestyle. We make our wine with humility, love and honesty, always taking into account the taste requirements of our entire extended family, who actively participate in the work in the vineyard. Natural, spontaneously fermented wine on the skins, without added sulfites, matured in a wooden barrel and was not filtered to preserve its naturalness.
