The wine's light yellow color is reflected in the glass. The seductive floral aroma with notes of roses and delicate spices is complemented by the delicious taste of ripe and juicy fruit. This wine with an irresistible character belongs to moments with friends, when laughter and merriment intertwine with joyful toasts.
How to store wine properly
To preserve its flavor, aroma, and character, wine deserves a little care. The right conditions can extend its life and bring out the best in it.
Temperature
Wine likes stability. The ideal storage temperature is 10–14 °C – without fluctuations and away from heating or direct sunlight.
Darkness and silence
Light is not good for wine. Store bottles in a dark, cool place , preferably in a cellar or wine cellar. And most importantly – leave them alone, wine does not like frequent shaking.
Lying down or standing up?
Bottles with corks should be stored lying down to prevent the cork from drying out. For wines with screw caps, the position does not matter.
Humidity
The ideal humidity level is 60-75% . Air that is too dry can spoil the wine – the cork could dry out and air could get into the bottle.
When to open wine
Most white wines are best drunk within 2-3 years , reds can age a little longer. If you have an archive wine, give it time - it will reward you with a beautifully rounded flavor.
Serving
Every wine tastes best at the right temperature:
- White : 8–12 °C
- Pink : 10–13 °C
- Red : 14–18°C
Let the wine breathe for a while – especially the fuller ones will thank you for it with their aroma and taste.
